Mr. Albino Ongaratto and his wife, Mrs. Wilma, did not create just the carvery but also family solid basis that mixed to the tradition and evolution, have resulted in an excellent, friendly and personalized service, reflecting the philosophy of the Jardins Grill which is now managed with great pride for its third generation.

The house that already born with a tradition of more than 40 years, serves the best carvery and pasta, a complete buffet of salads and also has a "Sushiman" to prepare sushis according to the will of the "customer."

This same care is redoubled with meats, prepared and served according to the highest gastronomic standards.

The buffet of salads has about 30 options, all with select ingredients accompanied by unique spices and sauces.

Looking to attend customers every day with more quality and variety, and thus offer to them more options, Jardins Grill also serves different types of pasta with sauces ranging from traditional, such as funghi, to exclusive recipes.

We also have our very Brazilian feijoada, served every Saturday - International Day of feijoada (in the opinion of the Jardins Grill!) - To break the routine of the week.

The history of the restaurant on a rotating basis merges with the history of the Ongaratto family.

According to the Churrascarias Association of São Paulo, the most accepted version of the birth of carvery happened in the mid 60's at Churrascaria Jacupiranga, managed by Albino Ongaratto in the city of Registro, São Paulo.

The legend says that one day, a clumsy waiter started serving meals in a wrong way to many tables.

Who had asked for chicken received ribs and a filet has come in place of sausage.

The confusion was already widespread with all clients wanting to take the waiter by the collar, when Albino Ongaratto to solve the situation, began to serve all meals for all tables.

What once was anger has become joy and Brazil won its own system of service that took over the country and today is known and appreciated internationally.

The tradition of good service comes from the family!

Concerning to the Environment

Environmental problems affect all people on the planet, directly or indirectly.

It is in this sense that the Jardins Grill is concerned with aspects related to environmental protection.

If each person and company do their part to preserve the environment will be a much easier job.

The infrastructure of Jardins Grill, in this inquiry is composed of:

Separation of garbage for recycling:

As separating garbage is already part of the culture of the families in Curitiba, in the Jardins Grill could not be different.

The Churrascaria has a reserved and secluded area for their litter, all separated into categories (paper, plastic, metals and organics) to assist with the collecting of the City Hall.

Purifier Smoke:

Legend says that " to be perfect a barbecue, its necessary to be done on coal." To make this possible, without releasing the smoke from burning coal, Jardins Grill is equipped with a purifier smoke.

In this equipment, the smoke goes through three stages:

1) Chamber of circulating water (to remove the soot);

2) Wash Chamber (where smoke is washed three times);

3) Chamber of washing and filtering (where smoke is re-washed and filtered by three filters).

Cistern to capture rainwater:

All the rainwater is collected by drains and pipes placed at strategic points of the Churrascaria' structure and directed to a cistern.

From the cistern water is distributed through specific pipes, and its used for washing floors and the gardens of the restaurant.

Using the most modern infrastructure in southern Brazil, Jardins Grill is a company worried about the environment, for this reason takes the necessary measures for its preservation.
